FAQ's

Double Link Function

The Double Link function enables two devices, acting as intercoms, to remain connected to their respective phones, facilitating communication between the pilot and passenger. It also allows each user to independently manage their phone calls.

No, the intercom function is temporarily disabled during a phone call and resumes once the call ends. The passenger cannot listen to the pilot’s conversations.

No, if the pilot or passenger starts playing music, the intercom function will automatically be disabled.

Hands-Free

This issue may be caused by interference due to your phone's connection to the communication tower. When traveling at high speeds, your phone may switch between different cell towers, briefly disconnecting from one and reconnecting to another, which can disrupt your call.

Yes, you can adjust the volume using your phone, GPS, or MP3 player connected to the Twiins® device. It’s highly recommended to set the volume for both calls and music before you start driving.

Several factors affect call quality while driving, such as the position of the headphones, the distance between the speakers and your ears, aerodynamics, engine noise, and other environmental sounds. For optimal sound quality, we suggest limiting your speed to around 80 km/h. Important: Always set your preferred call volume before you begin your ride.

Yes, the Twiins® audio device will work for listening purposes, but phone calls and other functions requiring a cellular signal will not be available.

The microphone is water-resistant. However, the main audio device does not require waterproofing, as all critical electronics are protected under the helmet.

Voice-Activation

All Twiins® devices come with a voice activation feature, enabling you to answer calls just by saying “Hello” or any other word when you hear the call tone.

Intercom

Ensure you hear the audio signal when first pairing the devices to confirm the process. If the intercom function is temporarily disconnected (which can happen if you press the microphone button to avoid distractions during the ride), press the headset button again to reestablish the connection. If pairing is active and you still can't hear after pressing the button, please verify that the devices are correctly paired.

You can use your Twiins® as an intercom by pairing Twiins® headset device with any other Twiins® headsets or standard intercom devices. This setup will enable the intercom function.

Music

Yes, Twiins® devices let you connect to your playlist and enjoy music while on the move. You can check your phone’s specifications for audio compatibility.

The music volume is controlled by the connected device, whether it’s an MP3 player, phone, or GPS. Several factors affect the music volume while driving, including the position of the headphones, the distance between the speakers and your ears, aerodynamics, engine noise, and environmental sounds. Because of these variables, it's not possible to specify a precise speed at which music quality remains acceptable.

Warning: Ensure you adjust the music volume before you start riding.

No, each Twiins® device will only play music from the phone or MP3 player it is paired with.

Connectivity

You can pair your Twiins® with multiple phones, but you can only actively connect and use one phone at a time.

Battery

If you use your Twiins® device frequently, charge it until the LED turns blue. A flashing red light indicates a low battery, while a solid red LED shows the device is charging.

If you won’t be using the Twiins® device for an extended period, make sure to charge it at least once every 6 months to keep the battery in good condition. Regular charging helps prevent battery damage.

You’ll hear 'Battery low,' and the LED will flash red repeatedly until the battery is fully depleted.
